She is one of my many relatives I didn’t know about, or had lost contact with, when I went into hiding after escaping the cult I was raised in. Since coming into contact with her, and listening to videos of her TV shows recorded on YouTube, I’ve become much more educated and enlightened.

I recommend listening to her super TED X speech. There, in only 18 minutes, she manages to outline ALL the most poignant factors involved in Mormon fundamentalism, including being raised a White slave in modern America.

In my opinion, Rebecca Kimbel is the modern-day “Martin Luther Queen” of Plygs — Advocate of Human rights for the disenfranchised and the downtrodden. No disrespect, but move over, MLK fans. Make room for an amazing woman and leader: “MLQ”/”Martin Luther Queen: Rebecca Kimbel.”

She, too, said, “I have a dream” … and it is to free the slaves! (the Mormon fundamentalist female slaves born into the barbaric and antiquated system of polygamy.)
