“My Emerging Self”
Hi and welcome! This is my first theme and header that really spoke to me when I started my fledgling Website and Photoblogging June 27, 2016.
I borrowed it from niece Dana Jordan’s Facebook picture, for lack of time, in the beginning, to find my own idea and Header. Tried it out for size, posting it on my Photoblog Website Home page to see how it looked and worked.
I’ve since found my own theme, one more suitable for my Photoblogging. But I’m keeping the above image on my Website for Auld Lang Syne — and because I love the design — the beautiful painting and theme, “My Emerging Self.”
Thanks, Darin, for visiting and supporting my site. I checked out your website also, and I see you do have many useful topics and ideas that I sorely need right now. But I have some other things I need to address, presently, that are taking up any time I have for working on better setting up my website.
I look forward to visiting your site and reading your posts, etc., as time allows. Right now my big priority is to go through my hundreds of poems, that haven’t been published yet, to pick out two for the California Writers Club’s upcoming Anthology. The deadline is August 15. I still have lots of work to do to read my many years of written and collected poems, then edit the two I think best to send in. Will sure be glad when this is over so I can finally devote the time to my new web/blog site that I know it sorely needs.
Thanks again for your help, and for your great comments on my site.
Regards, Stephany

Steph,
It looks great. If you want some awesome help, ideas, and tools, I have the perfect site for you. Have you used http://www.canva.com? Follow this link for just a few of the hundreds of templates they have https://www.canva.com/templates/social-graphics/MAA_AYqv7Kk-blurred-landscape-background-twitter-header/ . In my own experience, they help me generate ideas and make them look awesome when my own efforts are lame.
Not that you need the help, but I think you’ll love it for your blog header, social media headers, infographics, social media posts … Everything. It is the easiest graphic design tool out there, and even boneheads like me can use it effectively. 🙂 You have a great site here Steph! Best of luck to you. Let me know if I can help with anything.
Your friend,
Darin L. Hammond (from Facebook)
